A local ‘living lab’: Help us shape this site.

On Saturday 11 June, 9:30am to 12:30pm, MGA with a small team of Architecture students at Griffith University will host a community consultation to generate ideas for a master plan for the site. The aim is to create a “living lab” there for both locals and visitors, where they can learn how to encourage climate resilience and a healthy community.

Regenerating Australia, the inspirational new short film by renowned film-maker, Damon Gameau, will be screened that morning to spark the community’s creative ideas.

Making Good Alliance (MGA), is planning a regular program of workshops, residences, expos, festivals and performances for 2022 and beyond. At this living lab, people from all walks of life will be able to connect and discuss issues as diverse as climate science, biodiversity and ecology, habitat loss, sustainable living, health and wellbeing, and social justice.

MGA needs your ideas, to help make this a vibrant hub for our community!

To register, or for more information on the community consultation or the work being done at MGA, please contact mga@makinggoodalliance or call Mark on 0438 152 976.
